mad hatter halloween costume for teen girl?

im going with my friends to a church youth group activity. we are going on the 24th to an arcade place to play lazer tag, put put golf, and bowl. we are also supposed to dress up in a halloween costume. i really want to be creative, and originally thought about being katy perry. but katy perry isnt very church appropriate so i found the costume below…

sweet costume.
this is what I would do.
1. get some cheap ankle boots, maybe a friends/sister/or someone has some.
2. go to walmart ot like a thrift store and but colorful leggings, claires would probably be best.
3. go to the mall and see if you can find a puffy pink skirt, maybe forever 21?
4. find a blue vest/ and a yellow scaf.
5. get some gloves and cut the tips off to show your fingers, than tie some lace around them-walmart or kmart.
6. for the hall you can change it to a head band, or a head band hat which is at claires.
7. now just get some fake hair extensions to go in your hair.
but all of this might cost more than the costume itself, so just buy the cosutme or go to party city and look at it yourself.
